Job Description

Gemma Services is seeking a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our dynamic and growing Outpatient program! This position is available at our Mt. Airy location. Our Community Based Programs include: Outpatient Mental Health Services; Foster Family Care; Adoption; specialized Intensive Behavioral Health Services that support a child at home or school; a Family Empowerment Center, In-home Prevention Services, and our newest Family Based Program. Our goal is to help children, youth, and families achieve their brightest futures and to strengthen the communities we serve. This is a fee for service contract position. Gemma Services Outpatient Program offers high quality clinical services to children, adolescents, and families with social, emotional, and/or behavioral disorders. Gemma Services offers a supportive, highly collaborative team environment, and an excellent reimbursement rate. We welcome clinically curious therapists with a strong desire to work in a well-respected and growing outpatient setting. Therapists must demonstrate excellent time management, clinical skills, and written documentation skills. Evening hours required. Pay rate is $36.00 to $40.00 per hour. You must be available to work 20-40 hours per week. Work Location: 7208 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19119 The Child and Adolescent Therapist will provide individual and/or family psychotherapy services to children/adolescents as assigned. This will include conducting assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and discharge planning to the clients on their caseload. The Therapist will develop treatment plans and assume primary responsibility for ensuring the treatment plan is implemented. The Child and Adolescent Therapist will complete, review, and audit all necessary documentation required by mental health regulations and agency to insure timeliness, completeness, clinical pertinence and compliance with all state, county, managed care and TJC requirements. Documentation must be completed to ensure timely billing. The Child and Adolescent Therapist will collaborate and interact frequently with other community-based staff and members of the inter-agency team to facilitate productive and professional delivery of services.
