Housekeeper

Basic Overnight Quarters LLC. is hiring a Housekeeper in Alexandria, VA. The Housekeeper position is responsible for cleaning occupied and vacant apartments. Ability to work some weekends preferred. Push, pull, and lift cleaning equipment and supplies up to 25lbs. Bending to clean under furniture. Travels to apartments frequently. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Cleans bathrooms including tubs, showers, commodes, and mirrors. Cleans kitchen including stoves, ovens, refrigerators, sweep floor, range hood, counter tops. Vacuums and dusts apartments. Loads dishes into the dishwasher and turns on. Replenishes supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Replaces dirty towels with clean ones. Replaces dirty bed linens, towels, and makes the bed (Turn Cleans Only). Removes debris from balconies and patios. Observes precautions required to protect property and reports damage, theft, and found articles to the Supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: High school diploma or GED Valid driver''s license preferred No previous experience required Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and practices Ability to read and write in English; ability to read and write and Spanish preferred Ability to consistently and reliably meet work schedule expectations Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail
