Ardurra is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Engineer/Project Manager to join our staff in Miami, FL. Primary Function In this position you will be expected to plan, design, and manage multidiscipline projects consisting of water/wastewater collection/distribution systems for municipal type clients. Projects include but no limited to designing pump stations, pipelines, water/wastewater treatment facilities. Primary DutiesCandidate will be responsible for managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinating work with other team membersManaging the budget and schedule for multiple engineering projectsCommunicating with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and other professionals as required for the completion of the projectThe Project Manager will serve as the Engineer of Record and technical lead for his/her own projects, in most casesCommunicating with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and other professionals as required for the completion of the projectOverseeing and coordinating the activities of the project teamLead and manage clients and a teamPreparing and/or reviewing technical engineering specifications and cost estimates; coordination with in-house construction administration staffProviding feedback to junior engineering staff on standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteriaProviding direction and feedback to field personnel on specific construction requirements, visiting construction sites and providing field observation as necessaryAssisting with project pursuits and proposal preparationEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor''s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering; Master''s degree preferredA current Florida Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain within 6 months10+ years of relevant municipal engineering design experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding organizational skillsStrong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlinesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneouslyWhy Ardurra?
