HR Compliance and Policy Specialist - HUM000626 Overview HR Compliance and Policy Specialist supports the development and execution of a holistic HR compliance strategy focused on driving associate engagement, organizational change, reducing risks and increasing business performance. Serves as a expert on all compliance issues related to the human resources function, handling the internal investigation process; leading ad hoc projects as related to human resource or employee relations actions; and drafting policy, process, and procedure to improve the compliance posture of the organization. Implements policy compliance activities, policy and process formation and communication. job duties and responsibilities Coordinate, update, build and implement new and existing human resources policies and compliance programs in accordance with applicable law and human resource standard methodology that support business growth and the culture of our Dynamic Organization. Provide content and updates Leadership Resources, Policies and Procedures and Associate Handbook/ Code of Conduct within intranet HR Home Page. Supports the completion of Associate Handbook quarterly updates and annual acknowledgment process. Stay abreast on all associate-related legislative and regulatory changes and/or developments and ensure changes to rules and regulations are communicated to partners and incorporated into HR systems, policies, and practices! Lead internal mock audits; assist in the preparation of compliance reporting; lead coordination of communication and provide guidance around corporate compliance matters; lead process improvement projects as necessary. Compile and submit all government reports i.e., EEO-1, VETS 4212, FCC 395 and other state-level reporting accurately and timely! Analyze EEO workforce statistics to identify trends and insights. Identify and plan tactics to remediate EEO/Affirmative Action problem areas and assess impacts. Assists in completion of company Code of Conduct including collaboration with TDS, incorporation of recommended changes from audit committee, annual and new hire acknowledgment process, ethics hotline vendor management and reporting, and associate training selection and vendor management. Compile monthly Code of Conduct violations and provide reporting to the USCC audit committee and legal counsel. Assess trends and assist leaders and HR partners in developing solutions. Support the investigation of EEO and OFCCP complaints; propose recommendations for resolution; liaison with Legal Department regarding EEO complaints, charges or litigation; lead team in investigation standard methodology Develop and facilitate compliance related training and communications to all levels of employees in collaboration with Legal, EH&S, Talent Strategies and other partners. Maintain tracking of department and project activity; provide ongoing reporting of activity Minimum qualifications Bachelor''s degree or equivalent practical experience plus Five years of human resources experience with emphasis on employee relations, application of standard EEOC/legal concepts, practices and procedures Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to provide counseling/guidance to all levels of employees and management on sensitive and confidential matters Confirmed project management and organizational skills. Intermediate-level knowledge of MS Office Suite.
