We have a challenging opportunity for a Coin Manager II.Job Summary: The Coin Manager II is responsible for managing the entire coin room that supports and performs the coin sorting/separating and wrapping functions. This position ensure accountability and the security of all liability and prioritizes daily operations workflow. The incumbent drives the execution of the business and motivates team members to achieve the best results and to drive continuous process improvement. This position functions in an armed environment. The position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink''s and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink''s and its customers. Key Responsibilities:Oversee all coin operations including but not limited to deposit verification, change order preparation, inventory management, opening and closing branch and vault check in/outProvide coaching and develop employees; maintain a positive employee relations and work environmentInvestigate and resolve customer inquiries in a timely mannerMonitor and adjust performance of all employees, machines and workflowsLeverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and efficiencyLeverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous process improvement in cost, quality and efficiencyConduct daily balancing and appropriate handoffsSecure inventories by executing controls and ensuring strict compliance with security proceduresComplete preventative maintenance requirements and properly troubleshoot malfunctions to minimize downtimeLead the hiring, training, development and performance review processes for coin room employeesMaintain the highest level of integrity, dignity and standards both on an internal and external basis; maintain high ethical standards and protect the Brink''s reputation by delivering high quality, reliable programs and services which meet customer expectationsMinimum Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years'' experience in a production environmentMinimum of 3 years Managerial experienceMinimum of 21 years of ageA valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirementsA valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licensesAble to lift at least 50 poundsPreferred Qualifications:Cash handling experience in the secure logistics or banking industryKnowledge of lean/process improvement methodologiesKnowledge of budgeting and planning experienceBachelor''s Degree or equivalent level of experienceProfessional Skills:Strong consultative, analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent ethics and integrityHigh attention to detailProfessional, positive demeanorAbility to influence and leadCross-train and perform other duties as assigned About Brink''s Brink''s is the global leader in security and logistics services, trusted by banks, financial institutions and businesses in both public and private sectors.
