Competitive Compensation Package Health, Dental, Vision 401k PTOJob DetailsSeeking an Associate Project Manager to work as an Estimator and Junior Project Manager to support the company in meeting its objectives and goals. Perform take-off and pricing for various projects types and sizes to acquire new work. Manage assigned commercial construction projects at various locations in the area and assisting with appropriate actions to ensure projects are progressing and completed on time, within budget and with defined resources.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following, but other duties may be assigned:Collaborate with Senior Project Managers to understand the fundamental knowledge and processes of effective project management.Partner with Project Managers and/or Estimators to ensure a complete scope of work is defined and pricing review.Develop to become competent with reviewing drawings and specifications and preparing detailed estimates, including assigning material and labor values to take-off.Acquire vendor pricing on specialty materials, equipment and systems.Become competent with preparing a complete scope of work, project schedules, change orders, and BEC & fire alarm filings.Prepare, maintain and present computer generated spreadsheets, logs and reports.Prepare and manage communications internally and with general contractors or construction managers for assigned projects.Monitor project budgets and labor costs.Attend project walk-through meetings for bidding purposes and job tracking.Maintain regular communication and collaboration with Estimators, Project Managers and Engineers.Prepare documents for billing purposes and coordinate with accounting ply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established.
