Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual this position, you will aid the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics for performance versus budgets and forecasts, while identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.Reporting to Business Controller, the FP&A Controller will need to align the segment reporting structure in abacus in line with ABB reporting instructions, drive the business to improve performance in sustainable manner and bring transparency.Remote work is possible for this role.Your responsibilitiesSegment reporting: Align the implementation of the Global BL strategies to the segment reporting. Implement this for the sales / revenue reporting and for approx. 15 plants across globe. Drive the full P&L transparency for the business segments in abacus.Margin visibility: Develop reporting model to improve the margin monitoring in abacus for all the countries. Work with NAM transformation team to have proper processes in SAP to capture the segment margin.Financial Reporting: Ensures high quality and compliance of financial data and business information in line with defined ABB standards. Enforcement of country and BU specific finance directives and instructions, enforcement of Group Accounting and Reporting ternal Controls and Compliance: Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley [SOX], US GAAP and all ABB policies. Taking the lead in sustaining the alignment with Accounting Policy, Internal Controls and Assurance. Share functional best practices and lessons learned across the ABB organization. Ensures transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. M&A related activities: Support the regions / HUBs in financial analysis related to M&A activities. Oversee the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility. Evaluate financial implications of various strategic decisions, builds scenarios and recommends actions.OHS and Integrity: Supports ensuring a safe working environment, continuous HSE improvement processes and integrity performance.
