Lead Data Analyst Duration: 6 Month, Contract Location: Cincinnati, OH 45202 JOB DESCRIPTION Looking for a Lead Data Analyst that can comprehend data and technology to solve real customer problems in a manner that meets the needs of the business. A Lead Data Analyst works with key stakeholders and partners to understand, map, and solve problems with data enabling clarity for the customer and revenue for the business. Candidates should have a history with customer data and predictive analytics capabilities. 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, or another relevant field, is required for this position. Familiarity with Hadoop, Cloud (Azure), Oracle, Snowflake, or other similar technologies are needed for successes in this position. RESPONSIBILITIES Utilizing Data SME, Data Steward and Curious Data Wizard to establish a concrete understanding of your data and to ensure that data is easily discoverable, addressable, trustworthy, self-describing, interoperable, secure, and following global standards Being an information conduit for data, collaborating with cross functional teams (product managers, engineers, and data scientists) to solve business problems Mapping and documenting how new data fits into the ecosystem Understanding the impacts of changes to downstream consumption Finding the root cause to anomalies and collaborating on the corrective course of action Managing data quality and measuring data fitness including investigating anomalies and defining metrics for ongoing data validation to build and maintain the trust of your consumers Understanding different types of data interactions and the ways and reasons to interact with data discovery through productionizing Interpreting Data Governance, privacy, and contracts to document guidelines around data confidentiality, security/access and use conditions Providing input and feedback into a product roadmap and overall integration of data with products considering the data lifecycle Managing data by focusing on outcomes, problems to solve, the goals of your data and key metrics of success Collaborating with vendor technical teams, coordinating issues, new data needs or requesting enhancements Guarding and maintaining the data architecture REQUIREMENTS 5-7 years of experience in data analysis A functional understanding of technical acumen and business acumen Strong technical skills using SQL, PySpark, or BigQuery Familiarity with Hadoop, Cloud (Azure), Oracle, or Snowflake Technical understanding of data, flow diagrams, and the ability to read code and scripts Ability to interpret data and communicate results to both technical and business stakeholders History with creating high level data flow diagrams for a solution and facilitating collaborative cross functional review sessions to validate feasibility of the design Experience with guiding customers through data in identifying business requirements, analysis, specification, and practical application for implementing solutions Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills as well as planning, organizational and time management skills Ability to translate between business and technical terminologies Experience in data virtualization techniques such as data libraries and APIs BENEFITS OF WORKING AS AN EMPLOYEE AT CRG All W2 Employees at CRG are offered the following benefits options!
