Bonaventure has grown 10 times since 2019 and will continue the trajectory as we are breaking ground on 10 new sites each year.We are seeking a Land Acquisition Regional Director to join our Development team. This role reports to the VP of Development and is responsible for identifying land acquisitions, performing sophisticated land use and financial analysis, and cultivating relationships beneficial to Bonaventure''s development team. This individual will also participate in due diligence, including concept land planning, environmental, utility system, and title analysis. Responsibilities: Lead multiple phases of the land development process including land acquisition, due diligence, and securing necessary entitlements. Source land sites for multifamily development and present to the development team. Develop tools to help the team track all available land opportunities. Maintain market relationships and knowledge of market and submarket fundamentals within your territory. Research and identify new target submarkets viable for development. Work with municipalities to understand and outline all entitlement and site requirements. Coordinate with outside legal counsel to prepare and negotiate site control agreements Prepare internal investment presentation materials on prospective acquisitions. Collaborate with the development team, architects, engineers, consultants, and attorneys to facilitate the design and development process Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Urban Planning Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field is required."¯ 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate. Experience and knowledge of multifamily development or land feasibility. Expected to foster strong relationships within the brokerage community and with local landowners. Ability to be a self-starter and work effectively in a small team and contribute to areas beyond the direct scope of responsibility. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management skills, results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
