This is a fantastic chance to work for a company that has a rare mix of being a fun, yet high-paced and professional work environment.The Operations Supervisor oversees teams of Material Handlers performing a specific role in the operation of a Distribution Center.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Prepares and conducts team meetings, training sessions, and other events to communicate clear goals to the team Supervises the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring that customer expectations and performance metrics are met or exceeded Trains employees in all relevant functions according to Company procedures Monitors work for relevant operations and achieve all objectives while striving to proactively communicate improvement goals Delivers timely shipments with order accuracy for our customers and patients Maintains accurate inventory levels and meets compliance controlsQualifications:KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Works with Material Handlers to meet distribution goals and metrics Coordinates with other outbound supervisors to ensure overall goals are met Communicates with Operations Manager to keep them informed of relevant activitiesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Power Industrial Equipment Certified RF Equipment use and training Critical thinking skills Analytical skills Problem-solving skillsMcKesson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
