Machine Assistant 12 hr PM

A South Asheville manufacturing facility is looking to add a pouching assistant to their team on night shift. The pouching assistant provides support and assists in the operation of the pouch machines. The Assistant supports the operator in ensuring that the overall quality of products produced meets product specifications. The pouching assistant gathers, checks for defects, and packs the completed pouches. • Possess good verbal and written communication skills• Learn and apply understanding of current operating standards and practices. • Willing to learn and apply new skills• Understands and completes all paperwork related Finishing operations• Sorts and packages finished pouches• Labels and palletizes finished rolls• Will acquire and stock all necessary operating supplies and materials for the Finishing equipment• Will assist Finishing operator with set ups, paperwork and operation of equipment• Will train under Finishing operator, Team Lead and Supervisor to learn safe, efficient operation of Finishing equipment and safety, • Will learn and apply knowledge of Quality standards and procedures. • Will learn to identify quality defects Schedule will be on a 12hr set schedule that will follow a ''2 on 2 off 3 on'' pattern one week and the next week work ''2 off 2 on 3 off'' Schedule is 7pm to 7amPay starts at $15hr Three Ways To Apply: (choose one)• Resumes may be emailed to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]• Call our office 828-654-8101• Visit our office (1979 Hendersonville Rd.
