Commercial Contracts Manager

Location (Akron, OH) Job Designation The Commercial Manager oversees the contract and agreement processes. Prepares contractual agreements and provides commercial related advice. Drafts and reviews contractual documentation and negotiates agreements in accordance with corporate policy and applicable legal requirements. Ensures efficient performance throughout the product life cycle and the life of the contract, including modifications and interpretations to completion. Job Core Responsibilities Assesses contractual and commercial risk and provides appropriate advice to Commercial Management team Oversees the bid teams responses to RFI''s or RFP''s, including obtaining necessary internal approvals Manages the Commercial team''s contract amendment negotiations Ensures that dissemination of agreements and contract closedown/exit activities are completed within expected timelines Provides support, training and mentorship to the Commercial Management team Monitors and analyzes the administration of contracts to ensure compliance with contract terms and company policies Other responsibilities as assigned Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
