Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Supervisor is a hybrid role that provides support by applying quality engineering principles for continuous improvement as well as providing direction and training for the quality department. Job Responsibilities: Optimize manufacturing process and support floor operations Write SOP''s and problem solve utilizing CAPA tools Develops and implements standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation of materials, products and processes Develops sampling procedures, designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality data. Works from drawings, specifications, and inspection quality control instructions using an assortment measuring tools Supports the performance of visual and dimensional checks receiving inspection, in-process or finished products and validation Job Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in the medical manufacturing industry, required B.S. Degree in Engineering/Technical ASQ certification, is highly desired Experience in GD&T, required Experience in Plastic Injection Molding, preferred 2+ years of prior supervisory experience, required. 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer utilizing drawings, specifications using measuring tools.
