VENTRICULAR ASSIST DEVICE COORDINATOR: The VAD coordinator is responsible for the coordination of inpatient and outpatient care for patients with a ventricular assist device. These patients are candidates for advanced heart failure therapy using VAD support with the intent of either bridge to transplant or destination therapy. The VAD coordinator is a motivated, self-directed, and engaging individual who possess knowledge and expertise in the practice of mechanical circulatory support (MCS).
