The candidate will oversee the retouching process from end-to-end, working with internal teams to meet brand standards, as well as managing relationships/setting expectations with external retouching vendors.The candidate will manage the image workflow with final image uploads to server, track completion dates within PLM system, and communicate to appropriate teams in a timely manner.Must be deadline-driven and possess excellent problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Should be a proactive and independent artist, able to adapt to ever changing situations with creativity and innovation and work in ambiguity while still delivering results on time.The candidate should be able to work efficiently in a Mac environment using Adobe Photoshop. He or she will need to be organized with a sense of urgency while maintaining a high standard of excellence.The candidate will take direction from the creative team for both soft-lines and hard-lines, for packaging, marketing, and e-commerce imagery. Candidate should be able to do color correction, color match, outline, create clipping paths, layer masks, clean up and show strong image manipulation skills.Coordinate all aspects of image retouching for packaging and digital platforms.Edit a high-volume of product images under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Follow retouching markup instructions provided by internal teamsEnsure creative is in line with overall brand parameters and guidelines.Work collaboratively with other members of the Photography, Creative Team, Marketing, Product Managers, other departments to achieve project goals while working within brand guidelines.Edit lifestyle, on-figure, and product images, including background cleanup and extension.Crop, outline and create clipping paths, color correction, reshaping, general clean-up of files.Expert ability to clean and composite files.Ability to create masks and outline product efficiently.Ensure color consistency of product images within projects and across brands.Perform image quality control prior to delivery, ensuring correct file naming, pixel dimensions, margins, color space, cropping, color, quality standards, etc.Ability to use and build files using smart objects.Must have working knowledge of Color Correction based on RGB color space and conversion to CMYK to meet printing industry standards for reproduction.Source and manage relationship with outside vendors on image retouching, assure they are following brand standards/image guidelines. Ability to provide constructive feedback and/or training as needed.Upload final approved images to online digital asset management system.Follow PLM workflow for tracking and completing work.Knowledge of PageProof for image retouching and status tracking.Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the fashion industry, or relevant work experience.Proficiency in all applicable MAC software (Adobe Creative Suite).Highly efficient, with the ability to prioritize multiple details and tasks and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to process raw files using Capture One.Experience uploading images to online digital asset management system.Understanding of color theory.Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.Follow written and verbal direction.*Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 required for employment, reasonable accommodations considered for medical, pregnancy or sincerely held religious beliefs.
