Administrative AssistantJob Description:
The Administrative Assistant will answer telephones, take and relay messages, and coordinate continuous telephone coverage with other administrative assistants.
Schedule meetings, coordinate location, notify parties and track attendance. Make travel arrangements and order refreshments if necessary.
Order and inventory department office supplies as needed and monitor expenditures.
Type and/or prepare memos, correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, presentations, and other materials.
The Administrative Assistant maintains a calendar for the department.
Follow established procedures and guidelines, with limited opportunity to exercise independent judgment.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
