MES IT Engineer

Major Manufacturing Company is seeking a MES IT Engineer in the Hendersonville, TN area. Responsibilities Be part of the global Manufacturing applications and infrastructure team and taking over the responsibility for the operation of SAP ME/MII Solutions As a part of the Manufacturing applications and infrastructure team you will support this service globally Customizing of SAP ME/MII and SAP Plant Connectivity application Enhancement of SAP ME/MII Solutions along business requirements Operate and enhance the interfaces from and to the MES service like SAP S/4 integration Ensure seamless transition from current MES solution by proposing solutions, managing tasks as well as participating in cross-functional and global teams to implement solutions that best support the business'' needs. Support and operate production infrastructure like production clients, handheld scanner, PDAs, label printer Participate in, create, and deliver communication to stakeholders from cross-functional teams on application solutions to support business needs Be part of the global manufacturing application and infrastructure team and interface to our 3rd Level Service Provider and the respective Business Process Owners Support Key user in operations and develop capabilities/expertise Creation of documentation and guidelines
