In this role, you will be responsible for leading site-wide creative, setting the gold standard of design execution, and transforming visual identity into effective emails, home and landing pages. You''ll be working as both a team lead and an individual contributor, creating world-class designs and campaign photography. You know that the best designs require more than just pixels; you''re willing to jump in to photography and process workflows. You will conceptualize, present, and art direct marketing photography campaigns. Collaboration is the key to our success, and you will work closely with other designers, project managers, merchandise partners, and marketing team stakeholders to propose design solutions and ensure a successful outcome.Essential Functions:Concept, layout and design for all digital assets: email, site, and socialParticipate in design reviews and work through feedback from other team membersParticipate in scoping and planning workAttend weekly project meetings to maintain a full understanding of each new project and projects currently in the pipelineDemonstrate a growing ability to analyze problems, anticipate consequences, and eliminate obstacles to successfully complete assignmentsConceptualize, present, and art direct seasonal campaign photo shootsDevelop simple solutions to complex digital marketing problemsCreate structured, well-organized design filesInspect final designs and troubleshoot othersExhibit an in-depth knowledge of design principlesStay abreast of trends and technology and propose new tools and methods to the team that can aide in asset deliverablesMaintain a high-quality level for work produced, with the personal goal of consistently delivering the best quality of workNurture a culture of inclusivity and transparencyResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end designs for digital marketing experiences, from concept to photography to pixel-perfect executionPartner with the Art Director to establish a vision for seasonal brand and visual strategyPartner closely with the ecom merchandising team to inform and influence team processes and best practicesProvide regular, direct and impactful feedback in design reviews with your teammates to ensure high-quality execution and continuously up-level the team''s design outputCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the business need and translate goals into effective designsActively mentor fellow designers, helping them grow their skills and design toolkitConsideration for the business needs, implications, and future possibilities of your designsEducation and/or Experience:10+ years of experience in graphic designA portfolio that demonstrates masterful understanding and application of layout, color, and typographyExperience in both studio and location photoshoot settingsProven ability to art direct fashion models for both editorial and studio shootsA strong body of marketing work that tell a compelling and consistent story about a product, business, or initiativeProven ability to present your designs, communicate the reasoning behind your work, and translate feedback into an updated proposalDemonstrated balance between craft, speed and the bottom lineExperience collaborating closely with non-designers and bringing design thinking and processes to a wider team or organizationExperience in fast-paced environments and an ability to estimate, balance, and adhere to complex timelinesExpert knowledge of Adobe CS6, Photoshop and Capture One* Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 required for employment, reasonable accommodations considered for medical, pregnancy or sincerely held religious beliefs.
