HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Human Resources Manager reports to the Assistant to the Vice President of Corporate Compliance & Human Resources Originates and leads Human Resources & Risk Management practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, standards, goal attainment, and ongoing development of a superior workforce Assist the Risk Management team with Worker''s Compensation Matters Assist the Risk Management team with Companies Property and Liability Insurance programs and policies Coordinates the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff Assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues Assist the Risk Management team in implements Agency safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy and accident-free work environment for all employees, customers and persons served at Protects company''s interest regarding workers compensation Ensures agency policies, practices and procedures, are being complied with by all Serves on the Agency Safety Exemplary Duties / Responsibilities: HR Manager regularly runs Ceridian Auditing Reports and analyzes necessary changes Oversee the EDD program in conjunction with the third party vendor Responsible for all Leave of Absences, Payroll, Employee Health Benefits and Responsible for preparing COBRA notices for employees and COBRA administration in Ceridian Dayforce Assists the Risk Management team in the liaison with all carriers, treating physicians, clinics as well as Implementing and revising a company''s compensation program in conjunction with the Assistant to V.P., Corporate Compliance & Human Resources Creating and revising job descriptions in conjunction with the Assistant to the V.P., Corporate Compliance & Human Resources Conducting annual salary surveys in conjunction with the Assistant to the V.P., Corporate Compliance & Human Resources Developing, analyzing, and updating the company''s salary budget in conjunction with the Assistant to the V.P., Corporate Compliance & Human Resources Developing, analyzing and updating the company''s evaluation program in conjunction with the Director of Education and the Assistant to the V.P., Corporate Compliance & Human Resources Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: Four year degree from accredited college/university with a focus/emphasis in Human Resources and/or Human Services and Sciences Minimum six years work experience in the Human Resources field Three years of the six must be in a Human Resources supervisory role with supervisory responsibilities SKILLS: Performs administrative duties requiring independent judgment with speed and Apply organizational policies, procedures and Possess excellent fluent English verbal and written communication Candidate must be able to work under pressure with minimal supervision complying with time restrictions and Human Resources, SHRM or PIHRA Certification preferred Ceridian Dayforce Usage and Expert Knowledge KNOWLEDGE: Ceridian Dayforce Usage and Expert Knowledge Knowledge of OSHA and its record keeping requirements.
