We are currently sourcing for a System Services and Support Analyst to work in Fidelity''s Enterprise Infrastructure group in Durham, NH!The RoleFidelity Investment Personal, Workplace, and Institutional Services (PWIS) is looking for a qualified individual to assume a key role as Systems Services and Support Analyst within the Production Operations Electronic Data Transmissions team (EDT). The EDT team is the primary entry point used by a wide variety of Fidelity clients to send financial and indicative information to multiple Fidelity service channels (Defined Contributions, Defined Benefits, Stock Plan, Health and Welfare, etc). This team is responsible for the support of all aspects of file transmissions between Fidelity and its clients and vendors. The responsibilities include the triage of batch job abends, oversight of the environment, and resolution of user-generated request tickets. Specific requirements of the role include:Primary Responsibilities This role requires the ability to script mainframe automation with REXX and other mainframe tools. The role will require migrating from server infrastructure to the Axway platform using CFT. Perform batch and data support activities through the use of JCL, COBOL, DB2 and various Mainframe tools and practices such as Control M, TSO, ISPF, SQL, etc. Communicate effectively with technical as well as non-technical associates. Ability to function effectively in a critical role balancing multiple projects and requests Ability to adjust communication to level of target audience providing clear, concise, and articulate updates as needed Participate effectively in meetings, calls, etc. Build and maintain day-to-day internal and external relationships in order to provide an ongoing high quality level of service to customers Utilize good judgment and recommendations to reach critical organizational objectives!Education Bachelor''s degree or equivalent academic/practical experience. 3 -5 years of previous experience in a Systems Support or Development role in a mainframe environment.Skills and Knowledge 3-5 Years of working experience and strong knowledge of FTP / SFTP / AS2/ NDM and other managed file transmission protocols Familiarity with AXWAY a plus 2 - 5 years of technical skills/experience using JCL, Control M, TSO, COBOL, DB2, SQL, ISPF, and FileAid Prior Experience with Fidelity mainframe application and batch processing is a plus. Proven analytical and problem solving skills Must be capable of learning complex processes quickly, and have the ability to learn through independent research. Ability to learn and function effectively as a member of a multi-location team Strong customer focus and customer satisfaction orientation Demonstrated ability to influence peers and superiors in a matrix environment The applicant should also demonstrate effective communication skills; both written and verbal. Availability to provide some off-hours /weekend on-call coverage as required.COVID Work Policy Safety is our top priority.
