North America Brokerage Specialist

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Implement NOV Compliance policy and procedure at the operational level Process import entries for the segment business units under direction of Compliance management Conduct reasonable care reviews in relation to imports Assist the business units and Compliance management in gathering information in response to CF28''s, CF29''s and other government inquiries Maintain records for customs entries and reasonable care review Elevate Customs issues to respective Compliance Managers and/or Director Assist in gathering information for classification requests. Other duties as deemed necessary by the Compliance Managers and/or Director EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge of Harmonized Tariff Classification procedures Knowledge of import and export process Experience with Customs / Trade Compliance Procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS Must be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate business needs Must be willing to travel as business needs dictate BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES Excellent interpersonal skills Extremely organized Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES PC skills required Experience navigating ERP systems '',
