We are currently performing an exclusive search for a Corporate Assistant Controller with a publicly traded global manufacturing company which is experiencing exponential growth. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the general ledger and all monthly or other periodic reporting requirements in accordance with GAAP Coordinate various Treasury functions including maintenance of bank signatories Coordinate with the Division Tax Director all compliance issues including the preparation and review of the annual Tax Packs used in the preparation of the federal and state income tax returns Ensure accurate, timely and cost effective payroll data collection and payroll processing for all employees. Ensure all required payroll tax reporting and filing requirements are met. Ensure proper compliance with local Sales & Use tax and property tax regulations including timely filings. Support all aspects of annual plan development and plan updates, including coordination of all functional area budgeting and analysis. Assist external auditors at year-end via analytical review of account balances, supporting work papers and schedules. Analyze and determine the adequacy of the general reserve balances and report to Senior Management for decision-making purposes. Administer and monitor the intercompany invoicing process of non-trade items. Complete ad hoc analysis and projects supporting the Controller, and provide functional management with guidance and analytical support for identified initiatives and programs. Facilitate issues resolution for business system implementation initiatives. Provide appropriate decision support information and ad hoc analysis, as required, for all functional areas to support management decision-making. Develop and provide performance measurement feedback to functional areas to monitor performance, identify issues and assist in economic analysis of corrective measures. Experience & Qualifications: 7+ years related experience required in large to middle market corporate environments Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting required CPA preferred Prior public accounting experience preferred Significant Manufacturing experience required
