The Ultra Finance function leads the budgeting and forecasting processes and supports the strategy process, as well as managing performance against budget. In addition, it ensures that effective financial controls are in operation in all businesses to ensure stewardship of the Group''s assets. It ensures compliance with best professional standards, statutory financial requirements and fiscal provision and undertakes tax planning activities and ensure that the Group''s tax reporting duties are discharged. It ensures that the Group has adequate long-term funding to meet the requirements of its Strategic Plan and supports M&A. Oversee bank transactions for multiple business units including but not limited to daily downloads, weekly updates to each business unit and completion of monthly reconciliations Manage expense reporting tool, train new employees to submit reports, and reconcile to travel and purchasing card statements on a weekly/monthly basis Manage the divisional and business unit recharge process for assigned groups on a monthly/quarterly basis Reconcile transactions for self funded medical plans Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, in accordance to Key Financial Controls Checklist Finalize and enter bi-weekly labor postings in accordance with approved payroll File Quarterly Sales Tax returns Assist with quarterly and annual GBS financial statements including entry into IFS and Onestream financial software Assist with monthly forecasting and analysis process for assigned business units including data entry into the Onestream financial software Assist with the budget creation process for the Global Business Services team
