Wedding and Events Sales Associate

Description: Dr Delphinium Designs and Events is looking to add to our wedding and events sales team! This individual would be dedicated to handling sales requests, following up on leads, executing events such as weddings, social events, home décor and holiday décor. Developing lasting relationships to garner repeat business and referrals, is one of the most important tasks this individual develops and accomplishes. We ''re looking for someone who is goal oriented, self-disciplined, creative and has the ability to communicate the quality of product and service we offer. This individual works closely with each department to gain full support to ensure the product and service is delivered as promised. The Event Sales Associate has a strong eye for color and design. This individual should possess a strong will to succeed, along with a strong work ethic and high ethical standards.Consult with clients, event planners, and other event industry professionals to design, present and sell event décor Meeting with clients either on-site or off-site to discuss wedding/event Creates and develops wedding/event proposals and delivers contracts to clients in a timely mannerCollects deposits or payments and records transactions according to company policyAddresses customers'' concerns and resolves problems quickly and effectivelyFollows up with customers to receive feedback and ensure they are satisfied with our services Commits to managing clients by providing the highest level of service, integrity and creativityDevelops product request sheets and places orders with company buyer/general manager to ensure correct product and materials are received on time for the event Develops floral production sheets to communicate specifics to event production and installation teamsInteracts in positive, cooperative and professional manner with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients in a team environment. Requirements: Must have 2-5 years experience in the wedding planning and/or design Knowledgeable of flowers types and seasonality a plus Proficiency in Google docs and Google Sheets, Internet search, and ability to learn new programs such as CURATE Guest service mentality; is sociable and friendly and has a genuine desire to serve the customerCritical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills Excellent verbal communication and listening skillsSelf-starter who is energetic and flexibleDetail oriented with strong organizational skillsMaintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situationsPrioritizes responsibilities to achieve resultsIdentifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists othersAn eye for creativity, color and design Must have the ability to multi-task to oversee several projects at once while working with venues, clients and wedding planners Salary: Base + CommissionPM20PI154193249
