Please update this section!Job DetailsPOSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for reading and understanding assigned project documentation including plans and specifications. Installing complex low-voltage systems including various Access Control, CCTV, Structured Cabling, Healthcare, Audio/Video & Intrusion Systems in a neat and professional manner. System commissioning. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet. Communicate and coordinate work with subcontractors as required to ensure efficient and timely completion of work. Complete all required paperwork in a timely and complete manner. Maintain all company property and supplies, including but not limited to vehicles, tools, uniforms, parts, and documentation. Perform other duties as assigned, including attending training classes when offered. JOB SKILLS Access control and IP video hardware installation experience are a must. Experience installing Software House, Lenel, Genetec, Vanderbilt, Exacq, Milestone, Axis, and Hanwha hardware is preferred. Ability to install conduit including bending 90s, 45s, saddles and offsets. Ability to work both self-directed and as a member of a team. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Strong work ethic and integrity. Attention to detail. Demonstrated technical aptitude. Able to use hand and power tools (i.e. drills, saws, etc.). Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 lbs. Ability to work a full-time schedule. Work hours are typically 8am-4:30pm M-F, but flexibility is a must. Overtime with short notice may be required. Available for travel, which may include nights and weekends. Basic computer skills required, (i.e., Word, Excel, email). EXPERIENCE 3+ years Security industry experience 2+ years in a lead-technician or other leadership role.
