The Manager works to develop, implement, and monitor company safety programs, policies, and procedures. Prepares reports, monitors all safety incidents, take corrective action, and make recommendations to management for continuous improvement. The Manager of Safety and Process is accountable for driving compliance and executing of all process that impact field operations. Prepares reports, monitors, drives corrective action, makes recommendations to the Vice President of Field Operations for continuous improvement to all processes that impact field operations.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:Develop/revise and implement company safety policies and programs Assist with project related regulatory permittingAdvise company management on overall safety concerns company-wideDevelops and leads company-wide safety and training issuesWill stay abreast of all safety-related trends and research safety issues for the refinement of company programsWill conduct site inspections and interface with individual project managers and their safety coordinatorsEnforcement of OSHA, Company, and project safety policiesDrafts, reviews, and finalizes company safety reports and safety recordsInvestigate and report in detail on the following: automobile accidents, personal injury accidents, and utility damage incidents. Monitors all related claimsMonitor subcontract safety programs and incidents as required.Review RFPs for safety related matters. Oversees and drives the executing of all company processes, policies and procedures that impact field operations. Provides recommendations to streamline, improve and correct field operation processes.Some travel may be required (5%).
