WHAT YOU''LL DO We are seeking a candidate that can conceptualize and execute creative design solutions that effectively communicate strategic objectives for the Electrophysiology business. The Graphic Design Specialist will take ideas, concepts, and written and verbal direction and turn them into refined images and layouts for print and screen. The candidate can articulate the value of a concept or visual design to key stakeholders. They welcome feedback and use it to perfect their craft towards the shared goals of themselves, the team, and the larger business. The Graphic Design Specialist will embrace new ideas, help elevate the ideas of others, be flexible, creative, and agile in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Develop and design solutions for a variety of campaigns, across a broad range of media, including digital, print, audio, videos, and sales assetsPrioritizes, tracks, records, and maintains time schedules of multiple projectsEnsure key messages and visuals are delivered consistently and reflective of the Abbott brandDrive ideation sessions, planning and facilitate presentationsWork within a collaborative team to generate breakthrough ideas and constantly strive for new, better, more innovative solutionsMaintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendorsComply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignmentsPerform other related duties and responsibilities, as assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU''LL BRING Required 5+ years of experience as a graphic designer, ideally in or for a regulated industryMastery knowledge of the creative process, including typical time and resources needed to produce quality work on time, and to specificationExpert level skills Adobe Creative Cloud, with emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.Experience with After Effects, Premiere, and Audition preferred.UX, UI, HTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript experience preferredAdvanced skills in PowerPoint, including adapting data into a visual form and the ability to improve existing slides to increase aesthetic success and information clarityClient-focused and well versed in conceptualization of marketing collateral developmentMust be flexible and able to adapt to constant revisions and changesStrong understanding of multiple print processes and prepress functionsStrong leadership, project management, communication and time management skillsSelf-starter with solid business acumen, management and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environmentAbility to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environmentMulti-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely mannerPreferred BFA in Design, Graphic Design, Motion Design or comparable programMedical Device Industry or another regulated industry experienceWHAT WE OFFER At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
