The Licensing Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of state and employee-level licensing across all Allied Universal Technology Services North American Locations.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:Understanding and interpreting complex trade license (access control, burglar alarm, CCTV, General Contractor, etc.) requirements at both the state and employee levels.Ownership and maintenance of the Certification Management System to track each state and employee licenses'' status, expiration dates, and current requirements. Working with the regional team to ensure that each location complies with all state licensing requirements.When required by the state, working with the regional team to ensure each employee complies with all state licensing requirements.Experience implementing License Compliance Programs.Assist and conduct sales, operations, recruiting, or administration training on an as-needed basis.Position requires up to 10% travel.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor''s degree is preferred but not required.Three years of general business experience plus at least 2 years of Security or Electrical Licensing experience.Two years of working with permitting/license compliance, implementing, and facilitating compliance is required.Ability to work in a very fast paced environment; capable of managing multiple projects, shifting competing priorities, and meeting deadlines.Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work a flexible schedule and to work evenings, weekends and holidays as requested or required.Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with all employees, vendors, and executive level clients.Excellent organization and analytical skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Allied Universal® provides unparalleled service, systems and solutions to people and businesses within our local communities, and is North America''s leading security services provider.
