Type: Fulltime (40 hours / week) Temp Length: 3+ months Pay: 38.00 / HR Shift/Hours: 8A - 5P Responsibilities for this Network Coordinator job include, but are not limited to: Liaison between IPAs and health plans with occasional resolution with providers and members. Coordination and problem resolution of issues pertaining to member transfer, claims, member eligibility, provider eligibility, transitional care, pre-existing pregnancies, and contract compliance. Coordinates and tracks member transfers of block transfers, termed providers as well as new providers coming to NAMM California facilities, in order to retain membership and facilitate coordination. Chairman and Coordinator of the Health Plan JOCs. Creates, documents, distributes, and tracks minutes and materials for all health plan Joint Operations Committee Meetings (JOM) between the health plan''s, claims, UM, eligibility, QM, credentialing and other NAMM California administrative departments. Provides notification to health plans on organization updates and information as needed. Tracks and resolves any operational discrepancies between NAMM California and the health plans. Quarterly/Monthly Meetings with HMO Coordinators/Provider Relations/Member Service Representative''s for the discussion of concerns and issues between NAMM California staff, providers and the health plans. Maintains database on operational issues by health plan and by IPA for tracking and trending purposes Responsible for educating IPA staff on contract provisions that assist in the resolution of operational issues with health plans Reviews, monitors and challenges Health Plan Provider Operations Manual against the payor contracts Qualifications for this Network Coordinator job: High School Diploma or Equivalent The employee should be familiar with such Microsoft products as Outlook, Word, and Excel. Work is performed inside an office environment with telephones, printers, scanners and mail slicer. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate while computer equipment, printers, telephones and other business equipment is in operation. Why work for Adecco?
