Job Title: Billing Specialist About Us: On May 1st, 1989, Rich Ackley and a team of talented people pooled their combined 100 years of experience and founded Dalmatian Fire, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the same day, Rich also opened a branch office in Cincinnati, Ohio. The second week of Dalmatian''s operations, the company sold an $8,900 tenant finish sprinkler job in Cincinnati. Make sure that deadlines are met and work is completed in a timely fashion. Responsibilities and Duties:Interact daily with Project Managers in order to get billings out in a timely fashionMaintain and keep the billings log in order to know timing deadlines for billing utilizing AS400Practice high attention to detail and accuracy processing and applying cash receiptsInteract daily with supervisor and manager to assist them with work orders and paperwork, job submittals, and assure all inventory is updated electronicallyMaintain and update database and spreadsheets for business unit, field manualAssist with front desk coverage during lunches, breaks, etcQualifications:Associate Degree in Finance and/or Business or equivalent work experienceExperience with AS400 a plusAIA billing experience a plusMust be a self-starter and able to work with diverse group of construction personnelProficient in Microsoft Access, Word, ExcelLotus Notes experienceEmployer may test prospective employees for the presence of drugs, but must first inform prospective employees that they must undergo testing.
