We are seeking several highly organized and detailed oriented 1D Engine Performance Simulation Contingent Engineer to join its racing program in Santa Clarita, CA As part of our Simulation group, the role will be to prepare, run and help analyze the results of the 1D system simulations to assist in the company decision process for high performance Powertrain Design and Development. Responsibilities will include: Simulations - Setup and running of system simulations on our in-house systems. Reporting - Interpretation & analysis of results and summarizing for the wider engineering team. Automation - Development of scripts and macros to manage and improve simulation tasks. Interaction with the Engineering team and other internal organizations. Understanding testing and instrumentation used to measure data for validation of simulations. Preparation of detailed technical presentations for project engineering review.
