Accounting Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Ann Arbor, MI that is seeking an Accounting Manager.Essential Functions: Accounting Managers work with manufacturing locations in US & International locations to support, analyze and perform Semi-Standard cost update, PPV and work order variances Work with worldwide regional controllers, logistics managers to support and implement policies change Act as advisor and subject matter expert on various subjects including worldwide service inventory (> $500M), intercompany elimination and invoicing, statutory and management accounting, VAT filing and recovery, and other tax support and compliance in service regions As an Accounting Manager, you will manage a growing team of outsourced accounting professionals Review month-end and quarter-end close process, meet regular corporate deliverables, support Sox, Tax and External Audit Support period close processes and coordinate with service regions and manufacturing in multiple locations to ensure accuracy of financial reporting and close Gather, analyze, and manage worldwide inventory, reserves, and service inventory-related balance sheet accounts Participate in cross functional teams for integration of acquired companies Accounting Managers coordinate, support, and participate in various SAP/Hana module implementations of the organization and acquired companies Perform various ad hoc analysis/reports Own and participate in automation projects
