RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accountant in Belleville, IL.Duties: Ownership for financial analysis, journal entries, account reconciliations and within scope of BU or process responsible Accountant will ensure BU/process owned is closed accurate and by deadlines Partner with BU and process stakeholders supported to provide accounting guidance as needed for proper recording or to facilitate transactions through the Accounting process Evaluate, propose, and execute process changes to reduce risk and increase efficiency in tasks and reporting As an Accountant, you will compile information for preparation of tax returns and audits Work with external auditors to provide requests Follow internal controls in accordance with policy
