AP Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an AP Specialist in Saint Louis, MO.Responsibilities of the AP Specialist: This AP Specialist position applies the principles of Accounting to provide support to our clients and associates throughout their respective tenure with the company They establish and maintain department records and reports, policies and procedures and review of accounts payable Verifies all invoices submitted for payment have proper approval, correct coding and allocations prior to entering into the financial system AP Specialist will maintain accurate tracking of reimbursable expenses Ensures the timely and accurate payment of invoices, and verifies payments on contracted services are paid in accordance with agreed upon pricing Maintains accurate vendor and payment records Ensures all vendors have submitted proper documentation prior to issuing checks (ie: W-9 forms, invoices, check requests, etc.) AP Specialist will answer all vendor inquiries Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files Ensure payments for expenses at tax exempt status locations are paid appropriately AP Specialist sets up weekly ACH/bank transfers
