Your future starts now.The Retirement Plan Advisor helps individuals build a healthy retirement and plan their financial future. This role uses strategic thinking to achieve business results and lead impactful conversations while meeting service level agreements.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders for each location within assigned territory or for assigned employer-sponsored plans.Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews, individual meetings and group presentations with targeted participants, using consultative expertise to improve retirement outcomes.Create dynamic business plans and strategies to maximize impact on participants.Define a variety of dynamic needs and challenges by using thoughtful analytics.Document interactions in Salesforce and collect required information to adhere to guidelines for regulatory compliance.Satisfy service level agreements for the retirement plan as well as achieve business results.Participate in client meetings, sales finals or other sensitive meetings as needed.Work collaboratively across internal service and management teams to improve effectiveness. EDUCATION:Bachelor''s Degree preferredCERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS/LICENSES:FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 registrations required within established timeline. Current FINRA registrations strongly preferred.FINRA fingerprinting required.OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:Between three (3) and five (5) years of related experience.Reliable personal transportation to cover the assigned territory (mileage reimbursement provided) or ability/flexibility to travel up to 50% to meet assigned plan requirements.Strategic thinker who can work independentlyStrong relationship building and business management skillsExperienced and effective public speakerExperience with retirement planning/financial planning softwareProficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPointGood working knowledge of the firm''s products, the defined contribution business and ERISANormal Office Working Conditions when located in Empower Retirement Field officeMay be required to work from home when no local Empower office is convenient. Will travel majority of the time potentially using personal vehicle, which may include overnight travel based on territory or plan assignments. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as but not limited to; computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Many duties will be done while sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
