This trusted SF Bay Area Health System is actively interviewing for a Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join its Eating Disorder Behavioral Health team. Join the community-focused health system, and support patients'' emotional, environmental, and financial needs.At the heart of this thriving Ambulatory Therapy community in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a respected healthcare systems that offers a vast array of Acute, Sub-Acute, and Outpatient Services. From Inpatient and Emergency services a nearby 200+ hospital, to a full range of outpatient, primary, and specialty care clinics, this community health system has earned a reputation for amazing patient outcomes and innovative care models. The Eating Disorder Therapist will play an integral role in supporting patient care and well-being across the continuum of care.Reporting to the Outpatient and Special Programs Mental Health Manager, the Eating Disorder Mental Health Therapist will work with an outstanding Therapy team made of Masters prepared Social Workers (MSW), Clinical Psychologists (Psy.D.), Licensed Clinical Counselors, and Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT). Working with such a diverse team, the Licensed Therapist will get exposure to a large set of patient populations beyond the Outpatient / Ambulatory care patients that will be your primary focus. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in this Eating Disorder Program, you will play an integral role in supporting a wide array functions and activities focused on helping patients. This person will get to have a voice in developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical treatment programs for this health system during an exciting time. This department is growing, having added 20 new roles in the past few months, bringing the community up to nearly 80 employees, and is offering a wider array of therapy programs to its patients, now including individual, family, groups, and intensive Outpatient programs. Clinically, this program has begun to add a wider range of interventions and modalities, including:Stress ManagementSupportive TherapiesCrisis InterventionCBT (Cognitive & Behavioral Therapies)Skills TrainingThe Eating Disorder Therapist will get to work closely with a wide range of professionals, and will take on an important role. At the core of this persons responsibilities are the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with diverse Mental Health needs. The Psychologist will collaborate with Physicians, Psychiatrists, Dieticians, and other professionals to develop a wholistic treatment plan for each addition to the collaborative aspects of the role, this Licensed Therapist will also offer Outpatient Psychotherapy services directly to patients and groups ranging from children to the elderly. This person will also have the opportunity to develop and lead educational classes around Eating Disorders and other acute or chronic mental health issues.One of the nation''s most recognized metropolitan areas, the San Francisco Bay Area boasts something for everyone.
