CLS Laboratory Technologist

This quickly growing COVID Rapid Testing organization is actively interviewing CLS Laboratory Technologists to join it''s Los Angeles Area Operations team. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the community and work on the cutting-edge of the growing testing industry.Reporting to the CLS Laboratory Technical Supervisor, the Laboratory CLS will perform a diverse set of clinical tests, conforming to applicable county, state, and federal laboratory standards. This Laboratory Technologist will take a positive role on the team, supporting safety and efficiency as the labs open, helping to validate testing, and working closely with a strong team of MLT and CLS Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologists.The CLS COVID Laboratory Technologist will take a large role in getting this wet lab facility off the ground. This person will help train new Technologists and support personnel as they are added to the team, and will help educate new members on this Academic Health organization''s strong quality management methodologies. In any top tier testing environment safety is a key concern. The CLS Laboratory Technologist will support senior staff in establishing and managing safe working operations in this Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) facility. This person will manage all pre-analytic workflow processes to maintain orderly data entry, specimen collection, and processing techniques. You''ll also be expected to perform a wide array of tests, so experience with RTqPCR, DNA/RNA, qPCR will be very helpful.
