Japanese Bilingual Mechanical EngineerLocation: Lexington-Fayette, KY Metropolitan AreaFLSA: ExemptVisa Sponsorship: YesOVERVIEW:The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for developing automation solutions with electrical engineers. The main duties include designing and building automation solutions for customer applications. The successful candidates can understand customer specifications and thrive to impact on manufacturing production.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:• Develop and review 3D Mechanical designs on products based on the customer requirements. • Produce bill of materials and other required technical documents by lists of components by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing lists of components.• Provide machine assembly, fabrication, and installation instructions.• Ensure the quality and standards by machine suppliers are met by providing drawing explanation and adjusting schedules.• Attend meetings with customers to discuss specifications and participate any sales and marketing activities requiring the Mechanical Engineer expertise.• Other duties requested by Management.QUALIFICATIONS:• Bilingual Japanese and English skills (read/write/speak).• Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5+ years in automated machine design experience• Proficient in Solidworks 3D and AutoCAD • PLC programming knowledge and/or experience• Ability to travel to customer sites (Frequency up to 20%: Domestic) About Advantage Resourcing Advantage Resourcing is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, medical condition, genetic information, mental and physical disability, political affiliation, union membership, status as a parent, military or veteran status or other non-merit based factors.
