Nashville Wire Products, an established local manufacturer of steel wire products for the material handling division, is growing and accepting resumes for Maintenance Inventory Control Clerk on Day Shift at our Frankfort, Kentucky location.Full time benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance availability first of month after 30 days of service, 40 hours vacation after 6 months of service, 80 hours vacation after 1 year of service, 10 hours of paid sick time every 90 days of service until you have completed 1 year of service, then 30 hours of paid sick time annually, 401k with 100% match following 1 year of service, 9 paid holidays, employer paid short and long term disability, and 1 year pay progression top out. Purchases maintenance parts, equipment and repair items and maintains inventory in EAM. Coordinates with the Maintenance Manager to have parts on hand when needed. Places orders with vendors and creates purchase orders when necessary. Inputs and retrieves inventory information in EAM. 3 years within manufacturing environment with inventory and purchasing background. Pay rate $18.50/hour. Hours are Monday - Friday 6:30 am until 3:00 pm Other duties may be assigned.Keeps current inventory records of maintenance parts, equipment, and repair items that are in stock and on order.Notifies appropriate personnel when in-house stock reaches order point or when ordered material is past scheduled delivery date.Record all maintenance work orders in EAMMonitor open work orders that are waiting on material, notify Maintenance Manager when work order is ready to schedule.Prepares routine inventory reports.Monitors shipments for accuracy.May clean and maintain maintenance area and parts crib.Maintain inventory records on computer system, i.e., adjustments, returns, material issues, etc.Ensures that maintenance department receives correct materials.Keeps work area clean and orderly. Responsible for conducting all works in a safe manner.Create and process purchase orders in EAM for facility.May perform other duties as requested.May participate on project teams as requested.May perform or act as back up for administrative functions of plant such as shipping coordinator, labor entry, etc.
