Automotive Cashier / Receptionist Jeff D''Ambrosio Chrysler Jeep Dodge is looking for a part-time cashier/receptionist to join their industry leading team! In this position, you will be responsible for receiving and counting money, operating the telephone, greeting customers, and answering customers'' questions. Job Responsibilities Greeting customers at the cashier window, answering customers'' questions and providing information on procedures or policies Operating the telephone switchboard by answering incoming calls, transferring callers to appropriate personnel, taking messages and using the paging system Performing general administrative duties, such as taking care of plants and straightening magazines, to maintain the lobby or reception area Computing and recording transaction totals Counting money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change, as well as reconciling the cash drawer at the end of the shift Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers Compiling and maintaining non-monetary reports and records
