EY GigNow has an immediate opening for a Visa and Immigration Paralegal - Contractor.Collaborate and assist in the planning and execution of internal audits to monitor immigration compliance involving internal and external stakeholdersAddress audit findings, response preparation and recommend process improvements for both compliance measures and controls Demonstrate good understanding of visa and immigration and use that knowledge to respond to questions on compliance matters, such as I-9 and SSN issues Oversee the collection of engagement Statements of Work in order to facilitate appropriate documentation preparation for H-1B processing Facilitate and support random governmental site visits and STEM training plan processing to satisfy compliance 3-5 years of Immigration consultation/legal administration experience Knowledge of US Immigration regulations and processes, including compliance requirements Strong reporting skills to include intermediate-advanced Excel knowledge Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
