CB Description of the Procurement Specialist: The Procurement Specialist will be part of the Global Procurement Organization and responsible for Purchasing Operations for assigned corporate sites globally. This position will support broad range of the company''s order fulfillment and buying needs across assigned sites and categories, responsibilities range from managing the Procure-to-Pay process, supplier master data management, compliance with corporate Procurement Policies to delivering savings and value creation across the enterprise by working with Strategic Souring team and ensuring products and services are brought in accordance with commodity strategies. Responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist: Process owner and subject matter expert of corporate Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process Act as subject matter expert as it relates to corporate Procurement Purchase Order (PO), Delegation of Authority (DoA), Request for Authorization (RFA) policies Utilize corporate contract management and e-Sourcing, Procurement tools in order to improve transactional purchase process as well as drive cost reduction efforts Develop, maintain relationship, and work closely with cross functional stakeholders such as Accounts Payable/Receivables, Master Data Management, Finance & Procurement Excellence as well as Outsourcing providers Support sourcing strategies by performing needs assessment, market, and supplier analysis for assigned categories In partnership with Sourcing teams, assist execution of sourcing strategies by managing sourcing activities and negotiations when identified sources of supply Support automation and implementation of any process improvements (AP Automation, Procurement Spend Analytics, Master Data Management, etc.) Maintain proper documentation related to the commodity or service assigned (Contracts, SOWs, internal approvals, etc.) Qualifications of the Procurement Specialist: Bachelor''s degree in General Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, etc. Three-years'' work experience in procurement function Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills Being proactive and learning quickly Exhibits strong sense of ownership, execution, prioritization, and driving results Able to execute on tight and competing timelines Experience managing multiple projects and tasks Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP
