Location Name: Bismarck, ND Job/Requisition ID: [[id]] Location Address: 1611 E Century Ave Suite 300 - 302, Bismarck, ND, United States (US), 58503 Education Level: Bachelor''s Desired Relevant Experience Level: Entry Level (1-3 Years) Employee Group: Regular - Full Time Employee Subgroup: Salaried Exempt POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Land Analyst will provide critical support in maintaining the integrity of agreements and contracts acquired by the ROW department. This position will assist the Supervisor with the coordination of land, right of way and easement acquisitions. This includes but is not limited to detailed document package review, check processing and maintenance of payments, analysis of future obligations, document recording and records management. This position also provides ROW support to the Legal department, Business Development, Operations and Tax Department as directed by the Supervisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Review and Processing of Right of Way Agreements and Ancillary Agreements Verify signature and approval protocols for ROWs, Deeds, Contracts and other Land related agreements per Company Policies. Recording and Notary as required Assist Supervisor with land requirements, notifications, disputes and assisting landowners Handle distribution, payment and tracking of funds associated with ROWs, easements, sale or leases of property Perform records management tasks related to all Right of Way activities Responsible for reporting and tracking of special provisions, obligations and AROs of all ROW documents within the Right of Way document management systems Assist various departments with landowner related project needs as requested by Supervisor Additional responsibilities as assigned by management JOB QUALIFICATIONS: BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related field. Experience providing analytical and organizational support to a growing organization. Extreme flexibility and comfort with changing priorities and ambiguity. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to support multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret data. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications). Strict confidentiality with regards to sensitive or proprietary information.
