Join us as we take the next step on our journey to building the premier utility. JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: This position plays a critical role in Entergy''s ethics and compliance (E&C) program. The E&C program is focused on fostering an ethical culture at Entergy and promoting employee compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The position reports to the Manager of Internal Investigations and will work with leadership across the company to investigate potential, suspected, and actual violations of law and company policy, and will work with the appropriate stakeholders to address gaps in controls and continuous improvement opportunities. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to diverse Entergy functions, including but not limited to Nuclear Operations, Human Resources, and Human Resources Operations, through interactions with key personnel at all levels of the enterprise. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct multiple investigations simultaneously at various locations across the company. Plan and execute human relations investigations including, but not limited to, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. Other investigations will include fraud, workplace violence, conflicts of interest, misuse of company computers and other violations of company policies and/or laws. Interview employees at all levels of the organization regarding potentially complex and sensitive matters. Maintain extreme confidentiality of all investigation matters and disclose information only on a need-to-know basis at the appropriate time. Review documents, records, reports, and policies/procedures to prepare an investigation plan. Write clear, concise investigation reports suitable for dissemination to management and counsel. Identify value-added recommendations to improve processes and internal controls following investigations. Maintain customer relationships with members of Entergy''s management team to address sensitive personnel issues and opportunities for improvement based upon investigation results, and to identify areas of concern or potential violations of company policies and/or laws. Represent the Company in court proceedings regarding investigative findings. Prepare and deliver training to internal and external entities. Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced investigators. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education required of the position Bachelor''s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree a plus) or work experience equivelant. Minimum experience required of the position Lead Investigator: 5+ years of experience conducting investigations. Desired: Experience in HR, Investigations, Nuclear, Accounting, Compliance, or Legal Sr. Lead Investigator: 7+ years of experience conducting investigations. Desired: Experience in HR, Investigations, Nuclear, Accounting, Compliance, or Legal Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position Thorough working knowledge of investigations and investigative interviewing techniques. Must be able to effectively manage multiple investigations simultaneously and exhibit strong time management and organization skills. Must possess unquestionable ethics and integrity. Must have the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and possess sound decision making and problem-solving skills. Business Expertise"”Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend improvements to business processes or services. Knowledge of electric utility business is a plus. Familiarity with internal controls and risk assessment techniques, and understanding of processes, and flowcharting preferred. Strong Knowledge of human relations related legal and regulatory requirements is preferred. Familiarity with nuclear generation principles and operation is preferred.
