Remote Payroll Tax Processor

CSI Professional is actively seeking an Remote Payroll Processor for our client. This is a remote position. *Weekly pay provided and health, dental and vision insurance offered! Location: Remote, can be located anywhere in the US! Must be flexible to work at different times of day. This contractor will need to work 40+ hours a week during busy season Hours: Normal Business Hours Status: 6 month contract What you''ll do: Prepare, process and file payroll tax returns for our client related affiliates, and third-party franchisees in a timely manner to meet agency deadlines. •Establish agency tax accounts and process payroll tax payments for our client, related affiliates, and third-party franchisees via accounts payable, state websites, and other electronic methods. •Maintain proper tax calculations in current system. •Reconcile general ledger tax liability accounts and investigate account differences and issues. •Research and answer Federal, state, and local correspondence regarding payroll taxes, payments, and general account information. •Remain current of any regulatory changes on Federal, state, and local •Assist with special projects and perform other additional duties upon request. •Knows and applies comprehensive knowledge of Payroll Tax Compliance specialization to the completion of complex assignments and solves complex problems.
