Sr. Supply Chain Analyst

SUMMARY Participates in cross-functional supply chain initiatives and activities in accordance with the business strategic requirements set forth by management as well as execute analytical processes that will support improving working capital and cost reduction activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support Altra''s Global Procurement and Sourcing personnel in providing analytics for commodity strategy, supplier evaluation, sourcing activities, material pull systems support/adoption, regulatory requirements, and project tracking and implementation.Work closely and directly with Division Supply Chain leadership to identify and execute analysis and support priorities (e.g. coaching/training on pay terms, risk management, etc.).Develop standard tools, processes and reporting of key performance indicators (KPI''s) working with multi-functional team including Corporate Supply Chain, IT, Finance and Divisional Procurement teams.Prepare monthly departmental reports/dashboards & seamlessly interact with Divisional Finance liaisons.Consult business users to develop new applications, develop tools to address current business problems or improve current processes.Understand where data resides and how to map between Altra systems (e.g. SAP/Oracle, Tagetik/HFM, Centralized Spend Database, etc.).Participate and/or lead in cross functional projects and process improvement initiatives including LEAN / ABS processes.Reporting critical global business performance metrics and legacy reporting requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to learn business requirements and apply process driven solutions that work for a global supply chain.Critical Competencies Project management, Inventory management, familiarity with Strategic Sourcing.Business acumen with an ability to anticipate impact of decisions & initiatives.Analytical and financial modeling.Strong research skills.Collaboration with cross-functional terpersonal relationships, proactive communicator with all levels of the anization & time management. Prioritizing & managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong written & verbal communication skills.Ability to question data and reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate into meaningful results. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor''s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or relevant field preferred.6+ years relevant experience (Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Management, Finance, etc.)Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor''s degree.High level of proficiency; MS office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, also SQL, Access, ERP and Financial systems and Power BI are a plus.EEO Statement: The company in which you have expressed employment interest is a subsidiary or affiliate of Altra Industrial Motion Corp.
