Data Architect - Contractor

We currently have a contract opportunity for a Database Architect - Contractor to lend specific subject matter knowledge and experience to a database migration.Engage key members of the team to help facilitate a database migration Provide extensive knowledge around DB2 to PostGres migrations Plan and execute a proof of concept migration including development of a pattern to move an application along with the DB2 database to PostgreSQL in AzureKeep applicable systems maintained in parallel in order to reproduce actual application conditions within the environment 10+ years of professional experience within the Information Technology fieldExperience as a DBA (system and application) for one of the two database platforms: DB2 or PostGresStrong analytical skills required to understand database model and document dependenciesAbility to develop data migration plan and guide the team.Knowledge/exposure to Azure PaaS (SQL and Postgres), ADF data pipelinesGigNowOpportunitiesGigNowTechOpportunities
