Emerald is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our ASD/IGES/SourceDirect team in Culver City, CA. The Marketing Manager leads the development and execution of marketing plans to achieve attendance goals. With a deep understanding of event positioning and the key audience, this role will develop messaging and create and execute multifaceted B2B campaigns. This collaboration-heavy role partners with the Marketing Director to provide insights to inform the marketing strategy, as well as other teams to create and track campaigns.Much like our audience, the Marketing Manager should be a passionate creator who is data-driven, agile, collaborative, and eager to dive in. A positive attitude and the ability to work equally well across collaborative and independent work environments are essential to success, as well as excellent project management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.Develop, implement and take a data driven approach to marketing strategies and initiatives. Drive customer acquisition through strong calls to action and well-performing collateral. Partner with corporate marketing service team on reporting, analysis and proactive recommendations on program effectiveness and campaign optimizationMange endemic social media campaigns and channels to increase awareness, drive registrations, and engage communityPlan and monitor monthly budgets across marketing channelsDevelop and manage execution of effective strategies for B2B campaigns including (but not limited to) direct mail, organic social, telemarketing, text message, and referral campaigns.Managing the full creative process - from development through execution, including design, art direction, and brand initiatives.Ensure direct marketing projects are completed on-time, on-budget, and adhere to campaign goals and brand positioning.Foster and develop relationships with key strategic and operational vendors, as well as other internal teams.Coach and mentor more junior level marketing staff in achieving marketing objectives. Communicate program results and recommendations to senior leadership, gaining approval and buy-in on strategy and goals.Manages agencies and vendors to deliver projects on timeDeliver team tracking and reporting, manage post-event report creation, working with Marketing Operations on key data points, Tableau, and Google Analytics. Share insights with the marketing team.Manages process with Registration Team to enhance customer experience throughout the registration process and achieve data / marketing goals.Ad hoc marketing assignments as needed.5+ years of marketing experience with proven success of improved KPI''s and metricsExperience in project management, planning, and process improvement, as well as problem analysis and resolution at both a strategic and functional level. Experience running marketing programs and developing strategies to optimize customer experience.
