Area Product Coordinator

Overview Ferrellgas is seeking an Area Product Coordinator to ensure uninterrupted, safe and efficient propane distribution and resupply to designated locations across the United States by utilizing a team of assigned transport drivers and established carrier partners.Benefits:Medical, dental, vision and Prescription Insurance plans401(k) retirement plan with company matchEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Paid time off (including holidays)Wellness programTuition reimbursement programRemote work environment Responsibilities Distributes propane and other products within a designated region of the United States, utilizing a variety of assets including rail, truck, and pipelinesSchedules and issues shipping instructions for the storage, exchange, and purchase of LPGCoordinates deliveries and communicates daily work schedules to assigned transport driversMonitors driver''s DOT requirements and instructs drivers when action is needed to ensure complianceForecasts shipping requirements and adjusts schedule to conform to production rates, storage levels and demand patternsProvides a level of customer service that fosters customer satisfaction and positions the organization to grow and retain customersDevelops and implements systems that reduce expenses and maximize the utilization of assets within the assigned geographical areaUtilizes critical thinking skills to accommodate short-notice and urgent delivery requestsMaintains timely and accurate records of all transactionsPrepares supply and demand reports and inventory forecastsApplies federal hours of service rules and regulations when scheduling dispatch and correcting transport driver''s daily log Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in a related field1 -2 years of customer service experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees and customersDemonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to provide leadership when neededProficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and AccessStrong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-taskDemonstrated problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environmentWhy work for Ferrellgas?
