Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician

CoWorx Staffing has a new Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician in Sturbridge, MA. This client specializes in the design, development and manufacture of leading-edge detectors and electro-optics for the transport and identification of ions, electrons, UV Photons and Soft X-Rays. The primary responsibility of this Engineering Technician will be to assist the manufacturing/process engineers with tasks related to the testing and processing of production material. This independent role is critical to the company''s growth with the ability to make a major impact; position reports the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Primary Duties: Perform test programs; examines and characterizes products Verifies yield is within process capabilities Product troubleshooting and defect analysis with proposed solutions Assembly and testing of detectors Support Manufacturing Engineers with engineering test data collection Provide training to assembly and test staff Develop and implement process improvements
